A user faced with an advertisement or Trustproduce-registered label takes a clear picture of the label and just sends that image via mms or email. Responses are returned via MMS/SMS/Email depending on the preferred method. There is no need to laboriously turn on a specialized decoding app. Take a picture, decode it, and then usually get a web link that you must then browse to.
Due to our unique focus on image recognition and mobile platforms; information provided to the customer is unlimited. Current market solutions are limited to the size of the bar code/QR code etc. Mobius™ enables us to also increase brand awareness and loyalty in that the act of taking a picture of the registered logo image imprints that impression ever more deeply, as opposed to a generic hash code.
The ability to recognize any registered image, along with the embedded traceability data in each label allows Trustproduce to provide counterfeit-proofing measures when the label image is sent to the server. Response back to the user is near-instantaneous and can provide authentication before the product is purchased.
Traceability information is gathered due the nature of the Trustproduce platform in that each label acts as a marker and each time a picture is taken of the product in the supply chain process, progress is tracked via GPS and saved as data unique to each label. Therefore a shipment of Mangos from Taiwan with the Trustproduce label destined for Beijing cannot be authenticated if it were to appear in Guangzhou a month later.
